Rich mocha, black cherry and blueberry notes fill the nose of this Cabernet Sauvignon. The mouth is richly textured with supple tannins and wonderful fruit density filled with flavors of ripe blackberries, chocolate, coffee and smoky oak.

Fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon was selected from the finest Bordeaux variety vineyards in Sonoma County; 37% from Alexander Valley, 36% from Sonoma Valley, 23% from Knights Valley, and 4% from Dry Creek Valley to assemble a wine that showcases Sonoma County. The Alexander Valley grapes highlight bright berry with back notes of dried herbs, while the Sonoma Valley fruit is from our home vineyard - the St. Jean Estate Vineyard, and brings black and dense mountain fruit to the blend. The Knights Valley fruit adds a firm mouthfeel and pronounced tannins and the Dry Creek Valley grapes tend toward dark, dense black cherry and berry fruit flavors with a rich mouthfeel.

Blackberries, black raspberries and hints of coffee lead into a rich, concentrated mouthful of black cherries. Nicely structured and complex, welcomed layers of chocolate, cassis and plums carry throughout a lush and satisfying finish.

A wonderful combination of classic Alexander Valley and Carneros Chardonnay aromas such as ripe pears, nectarines, lemons and limes leap from the glass on this Chardonnay. Upon entry, a rich, creamy, viscous, medium-bodied wine fills the mouth with flavors of honeysuckle, perfume, peaches and citrus and surrounds toasted almond and vanilla oak flavors that lead into a long finish.”

This renowned Chardonnay is about the expression of the “Terroir” it came from: the superior Robert Young Vineyard in Alexander Valley. While the “regular” Robert Young Vineyard Chardonnay has always been a favorite of many for its yellow fruit, nutty flavors and oily mouthfeel, the Reserve is a more intense, spicy version. In the nose, melon, papaya, Bartlett pears and cinnamon, cloves aromas lead into a very rich, viscous texture with vanilla and citrus flavors.

Complex cherry, chocolate and black fruit aromas jump from the nose of this Merlot. On the palate, black cherry, cedar and roasty tobacco lead to a full, round mouth with firm structure and elegance.
