The youngest whisky will be bottled at ten years, it's only after a decade that we believe that the full flavour of Glenmorangie has developed. The fragrance is light and delicate, floral rather than cereal, with perhaps mandarin and vanilla with a light smokiness. The well-balanced flavour carries traces of honeywood and nuts, while the after taste is clean and salving. This is a malt with an overall impression which is refined and fresh; a malt which will delight the novice while also reminding the connoisseur of Glenmorangie's elegant heritage.

This tremendously successful addition to the range has been described as 'like sipping velvet'. Initially matured in American White Oak casks for at least ten years, Glenmorangie is then racked into port pipes for the final period of maturation. The result is a malt with the colour of antique copper: golden, but with rosy hue. When brought to life with a touch of water, the key aromas are of butterscotch and dark chocolate, but with fresh, minty notes and a trace of dryness, like lint. The mouthfeel is voluptuously smooth. A remarkable whisky, perfect after a good meal or to savour at anytime.
